Lauren Hillebrandt (1988, The Netherlands) is a Amsterdam based photographer that uses the daily routine and the ‘normal life’ as an inspiration. By forcing everyday object into a sculpture, she tries to reinvent their original purpose. This craving for absurdism parallels to her paradoxal feeling towards the ‘normal life’ as we all see it.
The series ‘The Day’ is a perfect example of the boredom Lauren experiences towards the daily routine we tend to led.
